Erasure, After Nature presents photographs made at a single location in Southern California’s Colorado Desert in early 2024.  The works are set amongst the perceived ruins of capitalism, where what remains of human presence are discarded objects and remnants, like the residue of a glorious past that is now incomprehensible. In keeping with the approach that characterized The Inhabitants (MACK, 2022), the photographer has sought to identify patterns and textures that bear witness to itinerant life in marginalized spaces. Through total immersion in these territories, these observations becomes a study of human migration.

The book (softbound, 48 pages) is printed digital offset on Mohawk Superfine and includes a choice of a color carbon inkjet print on repurposed book paper, or a black & white carbon laser print on transparency material, backed with acrylic enamel, mounted to repurposed book paper. Each print is limited to 25 in this edition. Broadside measures 11.5 × 17.5 inches.
